- Any damages to the Rent- A- Tent and/or its furnishings (with the exception of fair wear and tear to be determined at Our reasonable discretion) will be charged to the Rent- A- Tent Ticket holder and notification sent to the Rent- A- Tent Ticket holder within 28 days of the end of the Event.

- All Rent-A-Tents are non-refundable
8. Camping and Caravans
-
- All persons taking their own camping equipment to the Venue must purchase a Camping Ticket. This is not a Ticket permitting entrance to the Event. Event Tickets must be purchased separately.
- You will be notified of camping arrival times approximately three weeks before the Event. Details will also be posted on www.bigchurchfestival.com.
- Late arrivals will be accommodated only at Our discretion and We may require late arrivals to camp overnight on a temporary pitch.
- All vehicles must remain within the designated car park and will not be allowed to enter the Venue or campsite under any circumstances.
- Tents will only be allowed to be pitched within the designated caravan/campervan area if they are accompanied by a caravan. For example, a 1-2 person tent for dependant children would be fine next to the caravan. However please make sure that everything fits within your space booked.
- Children under the age of 18 can only camp if accompanied by a responsible adult on site. All under 16s can only camp if accompanied by an adult ticket holder aged 21 or over who must remain on site throughout the weekend as the under 16-year-old’s guardian. No unaccompanied under 16s are allowed on site. We do not accept any parental or supervisory duty of care or liability for any under 18s on site.
- Children should not be left unsupervised in the campsite.
- No caravan/campervan will be entitled to remain onsite unless a Caravan/Campervan Pitch Ticket has been purchased. Owners of caravans/campervans who do not have a valid Caravan/Campervan Pitch Ticket will be offered the opportunity to purchase one, subject to availability.
- As Caravans/Campervans will be located away from those camping in their own tents, please note that attendees who bring Caravans/Campervans and their own tents will be in separate camping areas. Pitching tents outside of Caravans/Campervans parked on the designated Caravan/Campervan area is not permitted, except in cases where those occupying the tent are dependant minors requiring parental/guardian supervision. Please check with Us at [email protected] before attending the Venue on your particular circumstances to establish if we can assist.
- Caravan/campervans require one Caravan/Campervan Pitch Ticket per vehicle. Each occupant of a tent or Caravan/Campervan must purchase one Camping Ticket. Please note, Event Tickets must also be purchased.
- If You wish to attach an awning to Your caravan/campervan please ensure that it is contained within the pitch size allocated to You.
- Small lightweight trailer tents that can be pulled safely by hand are permitted to park on the main campsite area at the Venue. However, any trailer tent requiring motorised support cannot enter the campsite field and should be parked in the designated Caravan & Campervan area.
- Please note, the use of vans or other vehicles as accommodation at the Event is prohibited unless they are modified and certified campervans. Please be warned that whilst a campervan can switch between running the engine and the battery, there is no ventilation in a van if the engine is run to use the battery, for example to charge a mobile phone. This can be dangerous and raises child protection issues. The health, safety and well being of You and others using a campervan or other vehicle for accommodation is Your responsibility.
- Any group erecting a ‘community’ or ‘kitchen’ tent (ie another structure other than a tent to be slept in) is permitted to do so as long as this tent is no larger than 6m x 6m in size. This structure must (a) Fixed securely to the ground using rope and pegs and weights. (b) In the event of high winds they must be collapsed. (c)You must comply with any requests from the H&S team, including taking down of the structure if requested to do so. For structures larger than 6m x 6m please contact [email protected] to discuss.
- If you have hired a caravan and it does not fit within the space booked then it may be refused access. No refund will be given in this circumstance.
- If hiring campervans or caravans it is your responsibility to find a company and make sure that they are a legitimate company providing safe vehicles to the relevant standards. Big Church Festival are not responsible for any hire company failing to fulfil their contractual obligations.
- All caravans, whether delivered before the campervan field opens to the public, during the period when the field is accessible, or left for later collection, are stored at the hirer’s or provider’s own risk. Big Church Festival accepts no responsibility for any caravan. They remain under the care and responsibility of the owner or hirer at all times.
- Caravans delivered on behalf of BCF guests will be placed where it makes the most sense to place them within the caravan field. So we are unable to take on any requests regarding location or relocate caravans once sited.
