Kids & Youth Programme
2025 will be the first year for children’s and youth programmes on all three of our mornings. Your kids and young people can register for three amazing mornings of worship, teaching, ministry, and fun.
We advise you to book your kids and youth in early as there will be limited capacity for the kids and youth programmes. This will be followed by Big Church’s three afternoons of festival fun for all the family, three evenings of celebration for the whole church, and three evenings of late-night shenanigans for all those camping.
A three-day celebration!
At Big Church HQ, we’re thrilled about the opportunities that transitioning to the August Bank Holiday weekend presents, not only for 2025 but also for the years ahead. If you’re curious about the rationale behind Big Church’s move to August, click here for further insights.
Firstly, Big Church will evolve into a three-day celebration, spanning the Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of the August Bank Holiday weekend each year (Campers will have the opportunity to arrive from Thursday).
Secondly, Big Church will introduce three mornings dedicated to worship, teaching, ministry, and fun activities for both children and young people, utilising the marquee and Big Top venues already present on-site. You’ll have the option to sign up your children and youth in these two programme streams, each led by exceptional teams of experienced children’s and youth leaders connected to the Big Church family.
Kids & Youth Programme
Our children’s programme will be spearheaded by ALIVE Kids. Led by Shell Perris, ALIVE Kids brings with them a seasoned team with extensive experience in leading kids’ ministry at various national Bible weeks and hosting large-scale kids’ events throughout the UK, attended by thousands of children & families. Supported by a trained team of children’s workers and the Big Church events safeguarding team, the three mornings (9:30am – 12pm) tailored for kids who have completed Reception to Year 6 at the time of BCF 2025, we promise to take your kids on a journey with Jesus, coupled with vibrant worship, fun activities and games.
Due to limitations in team numbers, ratios, and venue capacity, booking your children into the programme as soon as you’ve purchased your Big Church tickets is imperative, as we anticipate a high demand.
Likewise, the youth programme will span all three mornings (9:30am – 12pm). Worship will be led by Elle Limebear and her team, whilst the rest of the programme will be curated by a team of experienced youth leaders from both local and national youth ministries. We are crafting a dynamic programme aimed at deepening everyone’s relationship with Jesus for all attendees, while also being sensitive to young people who bring friends that may not yet know Jesus. Attendance can be with or without your youth leader and is open to students who at the time of Big Church 2025 would have completed in school years 7 to 12.
Similar to the children’s programme, securing a spot in the youth programme early is advisable due to constraints in team capacity, ratios, and venue size.
As we further refine the programmes in the coming months, we’ll update this page with additional details.
