Campsite Team

Do you love the outdoors? Do you like to help people practically? Can you put up a tent? Then the Campsite Team needs you!

Every year, we have around 15,000 campers, caravans, campervans, and glampers at Big Church Festival.

As part of the Campsite Team, you’ll be helping guests to move their camping gear and get settled in. You’ll help ensure that tents are put up in the right areas and generally support the Big Church Camp and Caravan sites to run smoothly. You’ll need plenty of energy, as this can be quite a physical role. You will work with a fantastic Campsite Team leader who’ll show you the ropes. This role is about being as welcoming and helpful as possible!

What days do I need to work?

You’ll be required to work 15 hours over the course of the weekend. You’ll likely have one longer shift of 10 hours, plus one shorter shift of 5 hours. One of your shifts will be on a live event day (Saturday or Sunday), and the other shift won’t be, giving you one full day off to enjoy the event! Please see our Volunteer FAQs if you have any further questions.

When do I need to arrive?

You will need to be on-site no later than 7:30 pm the evening before your first shift, this is in order to attend the team-wide briefing. When selecting which days you’re available to volunteer, please bear this in mind. We’ll also be holding a volunteer-only welcome party on the evening of Thursday 25th May, and we’d love for all volunteers to join us!
