Camping and Accommodation

Campsites becoming communities

From up and down the country; campers pitch up together as neighbours for the weekend, rubbing shoulders with old friends and new. You can camp on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. You only need to purchase one camping ticket per person, regardless of whether you choose to camp for 1, 2, or 3 nights. Everyone camping will need a camping ticket, including children, babies, and carers.

Your event ticket is not included and will need to be purchased separately. You will NOT need to purchase a camping ticket if you have purchased a Glamping tent or Rent-A-Tent as the camping ticket is included within the price.

FACILITIES

We have lots of toilets and standpipes for filling your water containers and multi-tap units for brushing your teeth! We also have plenty of showers, which are free of charge and available to all campers across the weekend.

MR TROLLEY

In attendance at the Big Church Festival, this year will be Mr Trolley, a trolley hire service to help you carry all your kit from your car to where you decide to camp. Our trolley pick up point will be located in the car park, near the entrance to the campsite.

First, a hire form must be completed and a £30 deposit taken. Then a trolley is provided with bungees and safe use is explained.

Prices and more info to follow soon!

CAMPERVANS AND CARAVANS

We want you to be as comfortable as possible so campervans and caravans are very welcome at the Big Church Festival.  We are now selling 6m x 6m and 6m x 9m caravan pitches that will be individually marked out. We will be engaging a professional parking company to help site each caravan.

You will need to buy a camping ticket per person as well as a caravan/campervan ticket for every caravan/campervan you bring.

ELECTRICAL HOOK UPS

Electrical hook-ups are available for the weekend for caravans/motorhomes/campervans only. The cost is £60 per caravan. This gives you power from Friday until Sunday. You will need at least 10m of 16amp cable to reach the nearest power source. You will need to purchase an electrical hook-up through our website.

If you have a specific medical need and require an electric hook-up, please email [email protected] with as much information as possible so that we can review your request. Please include relevant documentation such as a doctor’s note. We’ll then let you know whether we’re able to provide this free of charge.

Please note that those requiring electrical hook-ups for medical reasons will need to be coming in a caravan or tent and will need to camp in the Caravan field or Disabled Campsite as this is the only area where electrical hook ups will be available. Upon arrival, please make one of the campsite team aware by showing your e-ticket that you have been authorised for an electric hook-up for medical reasons so you are then directed to the correct place.

When requesting power please be aware that the site is powered by generators, it could go off at any point so we can’t guarantee the power being on permanently during the festival. Should a generator’s power switch off one of our engineers will be working to get it on again as soon as possible.

AFTER HOURS

You don’t remember the nights you go to bed early – so stay up late for this exclusive campers-only content and squeeze every ounce of fun out of your time at the Big Church Festival.

Campfire

There’s something truly magical about worshipping under the stars in the cool night air, warmed by a roaring campfire. We like to keep some things as a surprise…“Who’s leading worship at the campfire?” This highly anticipated mystery is only revealed in the moment, so grab your torch and a blanket and come and join us!

Comedy Club

Giggles, chortles and good old belly laughs spill out of the late-night-only comedy venue.

Worship Tent

The lights stay on and the music flows late into the night at the Worship Tent with artists from MainStage leading worship into the wee hours. Take our word for it, it’s almost impossible to tear yourself away– there’s something magnetic about this venue and Big Church Festival is all the richer for it.
