Access Team

Are you friendly and supportive? Enjoy making people feel welcome?

The Access Team is key to the smooth running of the Access Campsite and team members undertake a range of different tasks. When the campsite opens you might be helping to put up tents, assisting with bags or just generally helping people settle in – it is all part of being as welcoming as possible. Across the weekend you will be on hand to answer questions, staff the Charging Tent (for wheelchairs and medical devices), and make sure everything is running smoothly. We appreciate that camping can be a challenge if you have access requirements, the Access Team helps to make it a more joyful experience.

What days do I need to work?

The Access Team runs when the campsite is open. The team covers from midday to 10pm on Friday, 8am to 10pm on Saturday and Sunday, and 8am to midday on Monday. You will need to be on team during the arrival day (Thursday) or departures day (Sunday), as well as choose one of Friday or Saturday to be on shift. You will be on team for approximately 16hours across the weekend.

When do I need to arrive?

You will need to be on site no later than 8.30pm the night before your first shift. In addition you will need to attend a briefing before your first shift. The main Access Team briefing will happen on Friday morning at approximately 10am.
